I’M DYING

Day 3 of 5

“Dear Citizen,

In order to deliver on our promise to save America, we knew we needed to tackle our country’s biggest issue: wealth inequality. The richest 0.1% of Americans have as much wealth as the bottom 90%.

Our lawyers wouldn’t let us pursue our first choice - a campaign to eat all the rich people and live in their homes - so we settled for something more achievable. Today, Card Against Humanity has redistributed your wealth.

Using the survey you filled out when you signed up, we identified the 100 poorest recipients and sent them each  check for $1,000. To see how this $1,000 is impacting these peoples lives, read their stories at CardsAgainstHumanityRedistributesYourWealth.com. The next 10,000 poorest recipients got a $15 refund check.

You got nothing. And if you don’t like it, tough titties.

I love you,

Cards Against Humanity”

I was one of the 100 to get the check from these folks, and holy shit I was CACKLING at the hurt people on Facebook. Some people only cared about their precious $15 when it helped the poor.

Congrats! I’m thrilled that some of my $$$ went to people who needed it.

I went to their website for this to see if info on the other days was out, and their FAQ is so perfect I almost choked to death.

out of this world trolling lmao

For bonus context, the actual quote they’re citing for this protest comes from Edgar Mitchell (1930-2016), who flew in Apollo 14 and was the sixth person to walk on the Moon.

The full quotation, referring to the experience of observing Earth from the Moon surface, is thus:

You develop an instant global consciousness, a people orientation, an intense dissatisfaction with the state of the world, and a compulsion to do something about it. From out there on the moon, international politics look so petty. You want to grab a politician by the scruff of the neck and drag him a quarter of a million miles out and say, ‘Look at that, you son of a bitch.’

My boyfriend is super hairy and his hair is thinning just a tiny bit on top and he has kinda skinny legs and a flat squishy butt. He’s got the beginning of a beer belly and his shoulders are so broad, he’s the definition of barrel chested and he can fit both of my hands in one of his and his forearms are just muscle. He giggles when finds something particularly hilarious and he likes to pick me up when I least expect it and it’s nice because i can’t remember the last time someone was able to lift me. He calls me stupid pet names like honey waffle and sugar bagel, and he’s got such a strong jaw with such warm eyes. He’s so HOT and I can’t stand it. I’m so in love.

I still don’t understand people who think it’s perfectly acceptable to outright torture “unpleasant” animals. I’m not saying you can’t smack mosquitoes, but pulling their wings off alive, going out of your way to make sure they die slowly, is creepy and horrible to do no matter what. They aren’t bloodsucking parasites specifically to spite you, they aren’t being cruel or mean. Any animal deserves at least a quick death if it has to die, and you can’t say “that’s just a bug” because I’ve definitely seen almost everybody come together with rage over cruelty towards butterflies or ladybugs..

People show the same attitude towards reptiles, rodents, anything they don’t like, as if an animal being dangerous or inconvenient is an actual act of “evil” on that animal’s part and they have to suffer some kind of karmic punishment for …….the way they evolved I guess?

I’ve even heard of people getting stung by a jellyfish and going out of their way to leave it in the sun to dry up and die. We don’t know what if anything jellyfish can “feel” but that doesn’t make an act like that any less twisted. That overall senseless, spiteful obsession with vengeance is just creepy as shit.

I am deeply uncomfortable with anyone who does this kind of vengeance cruelty under the banner of ‘it’s just a __’.  Just the pure intent and anger shown through such cruel action will make me immediately, deeply not trust a person.

Omg you can’t make this shit up

anyway here’s a PDF of andrea dworkin’s Right Wing Women

https://www.feministes-radicales.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Andrea-DWORKIN-Right-Wing-Women-The-Politics-of-Domesticated-Females-19831.pdf

As if we should laugh at women being brainwashed by the patriarchy holy shit

They aren’t “brainwashed,” they’re neo-Nazi scumbags who, as white straight cis women, value white supremacy, the denigration of women of color, imperialism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. They wish they could dodge the misogyny they so gleefully heap onto others but they aren’t acting against their own interests as capitalists/wealthy white folks/cishet people.

Like, I get it, but I remember being a conservative and I can very firmly tell you that these women are brainwashed to hell and back. They’re doing what men tell them to because they’re made to believe it’s their only option. I’m not saying that we should go rooting for every nazi with a vagina out of #solidarity. But what I am saying is that all women deserve to be free from the abuse of men*, no exceptions.

This includes being forced to conform to a destructive ideology, like most cultish groups like that do.

They’re not being “forced” though. These aren’t meek minors or adults in abusive relationships, and infantilizing white, cishet women like this just seems to be a way to excuse their complicity in white supremacy, homophobia, etc.

Like they make money off of peddling white supremacist rhetoric, this is getting people killed. I’m sorry for your own past of being brainwashed but that just isn’t the case here. The average white cishet woman, Hell the average conservative cishet white woman doesn’t peddle neo-Nazi rhetoric. Their involvement in the far right is of their own choice and making. Saying that us being mean to them is why women are leaving feminism is just bog standard rightist talk.

Isn’t this whole brainwashing thing. this whole poor innocent pure white woman thing. tainted by men into staying at home and hating black children thing. isn’t this always the scapegoat for them?

also read the article its literally online bullying at best that’s happening to them like ofc whiny white girls are gonna exaggerate any wrong done to them. no one is actively abusing them they just cant take commentary from ANYWHERE and are out here holding anti-feminist views while wanting to have… rights and understanding of their womanhood that feminists fought long and hard for. they’re dumb as hell.

no one ever holds pure sweet white girls accountable for their share in being oppressive.

^

uhhh listen you can be oppressive and brainwashed at the same time

you can be brainwashed but have enough empathy and fortitude to buck the conditioning, and we all should.

But they’re brainwashed. Just like we all are.

I want you guys to really ….really ask yourselves at what age does someone raised in a racist household become accountable for the information they’ve been fed. I’m not saying what the age is! I’m not saying these people aren’t bad or that they’re not doing wrong god knows they are!

But if you guys HONESTLY believe that no amount of social conditioning, selective misinformation, emotional manipulation, repetition or authoritative pressuring goes into the creation of these people you will never not ever come close to really helping create a world where these levels of bigotry stop happening.

You cannot post about how the real agenda is tricking white people into thinking that minorities, and not the rich are making them poor, then turn around and say that these white people 100% generated their stances purely out of their own volition.

This shit don’t work that way babes.

But fr lol, the irony.

It will never cease to amaze how far people are willing to go to save grown white women from having to face any ounce of consequence for their own actions. You would swear that these Neo- Nazi endorsing women were five year old children the way people are capping so hard for them.

Do me a favor and unfolllow me if you’re so attached to elementary school badguy crimefighting that you refuse to understand how acknowledging the cause of a problem is not the same thing as defending it.

Bye.
